Hello families!
I am so excited to be joining the Wildwood swimming family. I come to you with a swimming background that started when I was 8 years old. Aside from swimming most of my life, I have continued to coach for the better part of 20 years. I started my career at (gasp) Sunset (yes, I am a Swamper). I have coached everything from summer club, USA, YMCA, and high school teams both here and in Colorado.
In my professional life, I am a teacher. The last 9 years have been spent with spunky 5 and 6 year olds in my kindergartener classroom. That statement should a lot about my sanity on any given day. I am also a mom to 2 amazing kids, Lukas (7) and Gretchen (4). In my ‘downtime’ I enjoy spending time with family traveling, on our boat, at the lake, hiking, or in the garden. We are outdoor people and spend most of our summer in the sun. My amazing husband, Tim, runs his own practice as a financial advisor. We have a small farm here in Middletown complete with dogs, barn cats, 27 chickens, and plenty of grass to mow.
My coaching philosophy is that I am not here to make Olympians. My goal is to help kids develop strong basic skills to continue to enjoy the sport of swimming. I want to instill good sportsmanship skills and build a solid team for many more kids to enjoy in the coming years. I want to build a strong parent volunteer program that will continue to support the coaches and the club. My family and I are excited to make a new summer home at Wildwood. I can’t wait to meet all the families and get to know all of the swimmers.
Hey guys! I’m Brooke and I have been swimming competitively for almost 6 years. I first started swimming for GMVY Wahoos, and during my freshman year of high school I started swimming for Monroe High School. My favorite stroke is the backstroke and my favorite race is the 500 free. I am very excited to be joining the Wildwoods coaching staff, and to see all the swimmers improve and grow this summer.
Hi guys!! My name is Morgan Guyler. I’m 18 years old and I’ve been swimming for as long as I can remember. I started swimming for Wildwood when I was around 5 years old and I just finished my senior year of swim at Bishop Fenwick high school in Franklin. I started teaching swim lessons for the Atrium YMCA in 2018 and I fell in love with coaching the little kids. This will be my first year coaching for Wildwood but many of you may recognize me because I’ve been a lifeguard here for the past 4 years. I look forward to meeting all of you and having an amazing!!
